![]() ![]() Via youtube videos confirmed the positive speaker wire terminal is on the right and the negative terminal is on the left. I cut it out, and reused the stock speaker holder, speaker wire and it's harness - I didnt chop this off, as I wanted an OEM appearance. I inspected the stock rear passenger speaker and the paper cone was well past its due date to throw out. Starting with the passenger rear speaker: I started with replacing the rear speakers to get familiar with the door panels and if I botched anything. and I am positive the previous owner or some hostile mechanic stuck a screw driver through the passenger speakers - they are horrible at high volume, weak at low volume, to the point I had to arrange the balance to driver's front speaker only. Major issues going on with the current stock speakers:īackground story: I am second owner of this car. Purchased to replace stock speakers: MB Quart FSB216 Component, MB Quart FKB116 Co-Axial.įor now, I have zero interest in subs in the car, till I get the stock speakers improved. please read before dismissing this whole project due to budget.
